How this estimate is worked out
From the calendar, not from the parks. We start with the day of the week, add for spring break, summer, Thanksgiving week and the Christmas–New Year period, and add a little for the Universal parks while Epic Universe is still new.
That is the whole model. It has no turnstile counts, no wait times and no attendance data behind it, because we do not have those and we would rather tell you than imply otherwise. Treat it as a rule of thumb for choosing between a Tuesday and a Saturday — not as a measurement of how busy a park will be.
