Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They help us provide you with a better browsing experience and allow us to understand how our site is used. Cookies may be set by us (first-party cookies) or by third-party services we use (third-party cookies).
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are required for our website to function properly. They enable core features such as the checkout process, shopping cart, and user authentication. Without these cookies, our site cannot operate as intended. Essential cookies cannot be disabled.
On the checkout page, Stripe sets __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid to process your payment and screen it for fraud.
Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-5FHLQPC409) to record page views, scrolling, product-list views, product views and checkout steps. This helps us understand which pages are most visited, where users drop off, and how we can improve the site experience. It sets the _ga and _ga_5FHLQPC409 cookies on ticketsgator.io.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by the platform that hosts this site, for page-level traffic counts.
Advertising Cookies
We use the Meta Pixel (ID 1669062894088757, Facebook and Instagram) to track conversions from our advertising campaigns. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our ads and show relevant advertisements to people who have visited our site. It sets the _fbp cookie on ticketsgator.io, and Meta sets an fr cookie on facebook.com. When an order completes, our server also sends the purchase to Meta directly, including your email address, phone number and name in hashed form together with your IP address and browser user agent.
We use Google Ads (ID GT-MQRD2PDV). Our Google Analytics property is linked to our Google Ads account, and every page on this site also sends a request to stats.g.doubleclick.net. On ticket pages we send the product being viewed to Google Ads. This is used for conversion measurement and for showing our ads to people who have visited the site.
Session Recording
We use Microsoft Clarity (project ID vzk0mrncmt) to record session data, including mouse movements, clicks, and scroll behavior. This helps us identify usability issues and improve the layout and functionality of our site. It sets the _clck and _clsk cookies on ticketsgator.io.
Two things about Clarity are worth stating plainly. First, Microsoft associates the session with an advertising identifier: it sets an MUID value on clarity.ms and on bing.com, so the visit is linked to a Microsoft identifier that is not limited to this site. Second, our site passes the Google Analytics client ID into Clarity, which allows a Clarity session recording to be matched to the corresponding Google Analytics record.
Click-Fraud Detection
We use ClickCease, loaded from ob.brilliantlocco.com, to detect fraudulent clicks on our paid advertising. It runs on every page of this site, sends data to obs.brilliantlocco.com, and sets three cookies on ticketsgator.io: _cq_duid, _cq_suid and _cq_session. These identify a device and a browsing session. They are first-party cookies, which means browser settings that block third-party cookies do not affect them.
Where You Came From
Separately from cookies, we store a record in your browser under tg_attribution containing any advertising click identifier and campaign parameters present in the address you arrived on, the first page you landed on, and the website that referred you. If you begin a checkout, that record is sent to us along with your order or with an abandoned-cart record.
3. Managing Cookies
You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. However, please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our site, particularly the checkout process.
