How do I buy official Orlando park tickets without extra fees?

Buy from a seller whose checkout adds nothing but tax. At TicketsGator the price on the ticket page is the price of the ticket: no booking fee, no service fee, no processing fee and no delivery fee. One line is added at checkout — Florida sales tax, at the county rate for the park you are visiting, which is the same tax you would pay buying at the park's own window. It is a tax, not a fee: we collect it and hand it on, and it is the identical rate whoever you buy from.

What actually appears on your receipt

Three kinds of line, and there is no fourth. Adult tickets, child tickets where the park sells a separate child price, and one line reading Florida Sales Tax. That is the complete set our checkout can produce — not a policy we intend to follow, but the only line items the code is able to build.

So the arithmetic you can do before you pay is: ticket price, times the number of people, plus that park's tax rate below. Nothing else lands between the page and the charge.

Florida sales tax, by park

Florida sales tax is set per county, so the rate depends on where the park is, not on where you live or where you bought. These are the rates our checkout resolves through — the same numbers that produce the tax line on your receipt.

How to check any seller for hidden fees before you pay

This works on us and on everybody else, and it takes about a minute.

  1. Put the tickets in the cart and go all the way to the payment step without paying. Fees that are going to appear, appear there. A price that is still the price you clicked is the only proof that means anything.
  2. Subtract the tax you expected.Take the ticket subtotal, multiply by the park's rate above, and see whether the difference is accounted for. What is left over is a fee, whatever it is labelled.
  3. Read the line items, not the total. "Taxes and fees" as a single combined line is the one to watch: it is a true statement that makes the fee unmeasurable, and it is the standard way a service charge travels through a checkout unnoticed.
  4. Check the per-person maths. A fee charged per ticket rather than per order is invisible on a single ticket and obvious on four. Price a family basket, not one adult.

Why the ticket price itself varies

Separately from fees, the ticket price moves by date, because park admission is priced by date at the source. The number on a ticket page is the served price for the date you picked, and it is what you will be charged for that date.

What we will not do is show a low "from" figure and reach a different one at checkout. Where the price for your dates is higher, the page shows the higher number.
